Success
rates for proposals to the EU Research Programmes vary from
one in three to one in twenty. Developing a good proposal
typically requires three man months of effort. So its important
that you give your proposal the best chance of success, and
minimise the frustration of wasted efforts.
Preparing these proposals can be a complicated process. Identifying
the appropriate Action Line or Targeted Research Action; understanding
Programme modalities, procedures and contracts; finding partners
in other countries; formulating a collaborative Workplan;
and drafting a proposal involve activities outside the scope
of the normal operations of most organisations. Too many good
project ideas fail because the proposers don't understand
the requirements of EU Research Programmes.
Mestor has worked for years with proposers, evaluators, project
managers and the European Commission. We can help you define
the scope of project, the consortium structure and exploitation
plans to meet the Commission's requirements. We also can audit
your drafts, and even help you prepare the document.
