The Techno Business Forum is a meeting held every year and is addressed to japanese firms and institutions who wish to know more about innovative products and solutions of the rest of the world.

The committee of JETRO (the Japan External Trade Organization) who organizes the meeting, performs a careful selection among the applicant companies and invites them to the Forum. Mestor has been selected in 1999 as the first company to represent Italy at the Forum. In the past no other italian firm passed the selection procedure of the committee. Mestor succeeded to satisfy the requests with respect to innovation with a product of its scientific branch: the softare package Winsimul 1.0.

The Forum taking place at the Tepia Pavillon in Tokyo on March 2 to March 4, 1999 will attract the attention of the who's who of the japanese economy and the governmental authorities as well. On March 5 and from March 8 to March 12 Mestor takes the opportunity to be present at the head quarters of JETRO in order to fix further appointments and develop projects with the participants at the Forum.

The Forum is of considerable importance not only because of its prestige but also with respect to the possibility of developping collaborations with Japan in the field of land-use planning and civil protection.

Mestor will be glad to welcome the participants of the Forum and other interested japanese partners at its stand and during the days at JETRO's offices.
